• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

DC-2 X Released!

First post here and have to say big thumbs up on this one.... a lot of fun to fly and flying as it is meant. If you are on the fence, then get off, this is one of those you shouldn't pass up on imho. Great work!

Can't wait to get my hands on the paintkit. :ernae:

While poking around through the cabin the other day I noticed that the passenger safety notification sign on the front bulkhead lights up when you flip the overhead "No Smoking" switch up in the cockpit. FAC

Hi,

instead of downloading all DC-2 liveries individually, you can now download the Douglas DC-2 Livery Pack 1 over at Aussiex.org! The package contains all seventeen liveries for the DC-2 and comes with an installer!

Have my own cargo airline (Gryphon Air) in Air Hauler from JustFlight, so I bought a couple and painted her up for that.... I also added a cargo door on the other side... good stuff :jump:

American Airlines Flag

I have replaced the American (USA) flag texture with an American Airlines Flag texture for the AA airplane. My memory tells me that they used a flag although smaller than the one supplied. The American Airlines Museum displays a pennant rather than a flag on their museum DC-3. At any rate, this American DC-2 can display a proper flag. I see that I cannot upload a dds file. I guess I could make a bitmap for it. If anyone would like the flag let me know.
