• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

With all this great stuff coming up certainly a time to ensure your pc is in tip top condition so that these can be seen at their best.
 
Ok, boys and girls hear this so no one will be disappointed. The B-24 will not be ready before April or May. Once the pit is done there still remains a fair amount of work to be accomplished. Also, there are several planes ahead of her so May is ambitious. :kilroy:
 
I'm certain it will be worth the wait Ted especially knowing the nature of those other models in the pipeline. :) :)

If anyone is in that big of a hurry the FP add on is very cheap and you get several new airframes besides just the Liberator.
 
DID Firepower come with a 24? Damn its been so long I can't remember anything. :banghead:


OH! and for the record ... I was trying to be funny about the "is it done yet?" comment. :wiggle:

The FP Liberator is also very good, BoB Park did some skins and conversion files for it for the ETO.

I did a Bomber Command one somewhere. 100 Sqn, I think. Now if I could get my mucky pudds onto a gmaxer, he could make us Airborne Cigar aerials that could be added as pylons...
 
NEW B-24 NEW Flight model ?

Hello,

I used to fly with the Firpower B-24, it was easy to take off, but allways a big challenge to pancake because of poor braking, and it took a long time to stop before the end of the runways. I had to choose large airfields as the Graveley (as they are made for bomber it's normal), but allways stop the viermots in the trees. Of course I could take the B17 airfile but if something is done with the real B-24 flight datas...

yes, there is an updated one here at SoH but I don't remember where. It has more realistic breaking caracteristics among other things.
 
alain first thanks for the suff you've been puting up. go to cfs3 addons under my name is an upgraded fpb-24j file download.its been fully repaired.its also set up for true air speed on screen.if you know how to change config. files you can detune the engine and prop,if you don't want it.
