SOH Team Project - Grumman Tracker, Trader, Tracer

Gee... I was unaware that this had been released.:isadizzy:Reckon that's what I get for staying away for so long...

Thank you Milton :ernae: for another beautiful model... (albeit a bit peculiar.. sure looks a bit 'off' without the radome).

P3AEWGUY's LATEST

Last skin done by p3aewguy seems to be the EC-1A skin submitted on 13 Jun 2012. There is a lot of file work being done at SOH at present so that I expect that his latest work will appear when they have time.

Just finished the upload of the EC-1A with the panel and sounds aliased, one texture. Dave and Hank, and maybe Sascha will be releasing repaints over the next few days to a week.

Let me know if you see any issues.

I included a prop texture for any FSX port-overs in the Documentation folder.

Thanks to Sascha for doing the texture for this very interesting variant, and to Duckie for the E-1B paint kit used for this model.

Thanks for your interest. :)

EDIT: Not sure if you can see this or not:

The Grumman "Seven" Projects for MSFS2004/FS9 ACof - VERSION 1.0 (EC-1A)

Hey gang, I downloaded this folder and installed as per the instrutions and put the folder into FSX Accel. I have the other three Grumman's installed and flying no problem. (C-1A or E-1B or S2F-3) But the EC-1A does not show up like the others. It's simply not there. I checked each line of the config file and found nothing different from the others. I'll keep trying, but some advice would be helpful.

cheers

The panel and sounds are aliased to the C-1A. If you do not have the C-1A, it will not work.

There are other alias statements in the panel and sound folders for the S2F-3 and E-1B. Change to point to one you have.

Alternatively, you can copy the panel and sound folders from one of the other aircraft to this one replacing existing folders.

EDIT: I will upload the full package with panel and sounds tonight.

Ah.... that was the fix Jedi Master! This young Padawan has much to learn.

Hi all,

it's time for another teaser :wavey: as I had some time to spare over the week-end!

I improved the metal skin texturing and brushed up on the cargo variants for you bush pilots out there. Also some updates to the navy skin including new more metallic finish which come with another ship (Aces Galore).

Below: Mighty Mouse.

Wishing you all a good week!

Another EC-1A question

I just installed Dave's Cecil Field paint for the EC-1a (Thanks, Dave), and was wondering if I was missing some textures.

The install instructions for Cecil Field refer to a "texture.EC1A" which didn't come with the install. The install package I have only has Sacha's metalic

Did I miss it somewhere?? :salute:

Thanx

Good point sir. Simply use the Cecil Field texture instead of the EC1A mentioned.

C-1A IN METTALICA AND A STEALTHY S2F-1

Great work on the hardware look Sascha! Have not seen such good looking metal since 'Bomber' took himself off to the un-mentionable. Now, forgive me if this appears like a shot across the bows from Adml Alzheimer: But I am sure I saw an S2F-1 on the old Shupe production line recently?

Obviously an early 'stealth' version . . . .

Thanks again Sascha and Milton's team. These Grummans are going to be the classics that will continue to be flown, painted and modded until prepa3ed sweeps all up into its multi-faceted jaws.

Milton, you sure are making it hard to move on from FS2004.
