Mitsubishi F-2A by Team FS KBT

Thank you, I can't get a decent flight in because I keep seeing one more screenshot!

You'd be doing yourself a favour to give in to that temptation...

I meant to ask: these aircraft deserve some really high-res Japanese military sceneries.
Any recommendations, free- or payware? I have Komatsu and it's showing its age.

I agree!

Sadly there does not seems to be many addons for JASDF bases (at least, that I know). Most of Japanese addons are very old like you said, and doesn't fit the modern standards.

I have been using payware Simmers' Sky sceneries, which are civilian airports, but a couple are joint civil/military with JASDF facilities (like Tokushima). I think these are the best Japanese airports available for FS9 so far.

But, if somebody knows about good JASDF sceneries, I will love to know!

Just discovered this gem. I love it! :gameon:
Only one question: are the drop tanks droppable and if so how does one do it?
I figured out the ordinance but trying to dump the drop tanks is making me scratch my head like a monkey doing a math problem.:isadizzy:
 
Just reinstalled this beauty and found the repaints. This thing is still an excellent add-on aircraft. And the canopy isnt blacked out.

I'd like to see a fictional green camo, like the F-1. Or maybe some Aggressor schemes.

Gentlemen, how I can deploy the dragchute ? I activated the button, but it does not respond...
 
My F-2A is currently in the hangar, so I can't test this at the moment.

According to the manual the chute is syncronized with the thrust reversers. The default FS9 command for that is the F2 key, so give that a try in conjunction with the deployment button.

... Thanks again WarHorse, resolved (problem of translation)... It works very well...

Dragchute:
I think that the brake can help very much the dragchute effect...
And I increased the value of "flaps-position.14=" on flaps.1 and flaps.2 : =5000


Lights:

If you want to see the HUD at night (and day), in VC, add this on [LIGHTS] chapter:
light.13=4, 14.25, 0.00, 2.50, fx_vclight
and choose the white HUD

If not enough:
light.13=4, 14.25, 0.00, 2.50, fx_vclight_green ( or fx_vclight_yellow )
and choose the green or white HUD

Well... I discover small by small this amazing aircraft...
Some flight tests... Maybe some adjustments here and there...

Very agreable to fly, amazing work...

And the real F-2A (and of course the F-16) is a very beautiful aircraft...
