Thanks for the help. I didn't articulate myself terribly clearly. I get the process, though. I've already tried the A2A Cub and the Carenado C172 (which has the same engine). The C172 was an improvement, but I hated the flap sounds. Might look into changing those as Bill suggests. But, reading earlier in the thread, I saw Bill's suggestion about the Mooney. I don't know if the default Mooney has an O-320 or the correct O-360, but it sounds MUCH better to me, and so I have just aliased all the versions to it. I might get and try the TSS C172 sound set though. It's the correct engine, and the video on it sounds nice. This nice bird deserves a nice soundset.
On the issue of starter switch, that is odd. I believe the poster above was meaning to test it in SP2/Acceleration, since that is the latest and should be default version of FSX. Several of us who fly together have bought this plane and the starter switch doesn't work for any of us. We're all flying Acceleration I believe.
