I installed the service pack, and from just the looks, most things appeared to be fixed. Nav lights, prop blade fixed, carb heat and generator switches added. Mag switch now actually linked to mag (m) command. However I have a new problem lol. The starter does not work anymore, neither does hitting m++ or ctrl-e(start up sounds but prop doesn't spin or rpm spool up), and yes the aircraft is prepped for start. Switching to another airplane with the same conditions starts up fine. Switching back to the Stag from another running airplane seems to work. Anyway, went on a test flight. Mag switch is fixed. Prop sounds fixed and it flies fine.
I reinstalled the patch just to be sure there wasn't a glitch during the install process with no luck. Does anyone else have starter issues in the Stag?
If it weren't for this starter issue, I would change my initial 'golfer's rating' from Bogey to Par. Hopefully this will get addressed.
Just for ducks, I am going to attempt to reinstall of the Staggerwing + patch and see if that does it.
On a side note, the Carb air temp gauge still seems goofy. I don't know if the gauge is functioning properly. I took the plane to death valley which had an OAT of 37C. The carb air temp read about the same (on tool tips) with a cold engine off as it should. To me it seems like the scale of the gauge is way off. The bottom end of of the scale is 32C, rather warm I would think. It is usually a good thing to know if your carb air temp is getting low while at altitude. This could be the actual design of the gauge. Who knows.
Cheers
