Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Overview Updates (1) History Discussion

This version of the Ju52 4v+EU has an updated confuguration file entry

This package contains alternative textures for Oliver Fisher's beautiful Ju52 model. The textures depict a Junkers Ju52 from I./KG vbZ 172 which flew regular flights between Italy and North Africa to supply the Afrika Korps. The repaint is based on a profile and photograph in the Squadron publication band 11 Junkers Ju52

The textures are done for the original V2 FS9 model, but will not work on the native conversion by Bulbbulb2.Oversight and InDeepSchit, as some texture are different in this version.
For those who use the original FS9 model in FSX this problem does of course not exist.

I wish to thank Oliver Fischer for making and sharing this stunning model, which was the perfect canvas for my repaint. And Martin Wright for his simple but indispensable graphic tools, as without his dtx1 bitmap manipulator these textures simply wouldn't be there.

This version has an update entry for the aircraft configuration file.

Enjoy,
Huub
