146-200 Jetliner at Justflight is out (Payware)

Hi Martyn

I have put it back on my pc but cant find in the manual where you click to get the door animation panel to appear - it tells me about it but i just cant find reference to how you get it to show.

Also to define my comments about theVC - there is no glazing texture so it looks like there is no windscreens, the gauges look flat compared to recently produced addons - are they 3d?

To open the door panel, press the GPU icon. Refer to this FAQ for info on how to access the icons: http://www.justflight.com/supportfaq/146-200#FAQ1

The gauge bezels, knobs and switches are 3D and certain parts of some gauges (e.g. slip indicator on attitude indicator) are also 3D - however the gauge needles are not 3D.

The windscreen glazing is always a tricky one, some users want a glazed texture effect and others prefer clear windscreens.

I have to say that Im keeping it in the hangar just for the external model which is excellent. However - does anyone find that the external cockpit windscreens are missing on some repaints?

Well the paintkit is nice and user friendly until the point you have to start cutting and pasting the paint and aligning it to texture tiles, phew! :icon_lol:

I'm fantasizing about doing this paint, we'll see...

Okay quick test hop around Friday Harbor... I really like it, can't say anything about systems yet, but it flies great, has nice soundset, and smooth controlling. Visual model is really purty outside, inside there are spots that are mushier, but I don't care as long as the over all quality and feel is right. It's a keeper for me. I think I'm officially back to tubeliners now. I might squeeze out some paints too. Well done JF/CLS:applause:

edit: I may also add that the framerate is excellent.

+1 on the screen shots. Great looking exterior model. Not sure why the negative buzz on the pit. It's not Capt'n Sim, that's for sure. I could not find it on the Capt'n Sim web site. :icon_lol:

If the skilled repainters in here are in search for a paint to do in this model and it would make a lot of us happy here is a good example:

I know, it´s a -100 not a -200 but it would be great!

I can do that, I love these retro liveries. Have to wait till the next week though, since I'm now leaving for my well deserved scuba-vacation for the weekend.:running:

And thanks for the compliments guys!

Heh, I was going to ask, does Just Flight have any intention to do the BAe-146 STA and BAe-146 CC.2 in addition to the QT? If not, I would LOVE to see this STA paint, bushpilot!

despite Barnes' advice I took the plunge and got both base pack and FMC addon

im sorry, but all i have to say is, it has a very nice exterior and thats where i going to leave it

I have lots of questions, but I dont want to start a argument

Can I suggest you have the manuals available to download on the product page so people can read what it can and cant do before they purchase it

Martyn how do I go about starting a refund request within the next 28 days as I cant find the contact email address

Matt,

And here: http://www.justflight.com/support-contact

No arguments necessary :engel016:. Please send any questions you have to the support team (using the link above). They will be happy to answer any queries about the product.

The abilities/features of the product can be found here: http://www.justflight.com/product/146-200-jetliner

We try to be very clear with our marketing (product details on the website, video etc) what level of complexity the product has. This product sits somewhere in between our F-Lite and Professional ranges and should suit the majority of simmers from both camps, but not all.

No plans at present, but we are always open to suggestions if there is sufficient demand (e.g. DC-6 Cargo expansion was developed on the back of feedback here).

thanks for the link, but i dont have 3rd party email programs, as i use my email via weblink, and that link doesnt help as it asks for a program, ive replied to my order emails for the refund

ive read the product page, but it lacks the operation of the fmc and procedures, so in hind sight the product page is useless to work out what it can or cant do, if i knew there was no real vnav or lnav i wouldnt have bought the fmc and no where it mentions it was by CLS

it even say on the product page there is a Lnav when in fact there isnt and the manual says there isnt

Thanks for the feedback.

The e-mail address for the orders team is orders@justflight.com. If you move your mouse cursor over the link on the contact us page, you should see the address in the bottom corner of your web browser. Alternatively you can use the support section which has an online form that doesn't require the use of an e-mail client.

We tried to make the LNAV functionality clear with this bit of text on the product page:

and LNAV modes. LNAV following FSX GPS flight plan.

I apologise if you found it misleading.

CLS are credited fully in the manual but as this was developed exclusively for Just Flight, and therefore is a Just Flight product, we didn't feel it necessary to make special mention of their involvement in the project on the product page. As publishers of their excellent titles over the past 8 years, it was important to make it clear that this is in fact a Just Flight product and is therefore not available from CLS. This aircraft is part of our Jetliner range, sitting in between F-Lite and Professional in terms of complexity. This is probably clearer to our existing customer base than it is to less regular, or new customers.

Thank you Martyn

My correction I mean the other other AP nav mode, I also found that when you tried to set the AP IAS it disengaged the ALT or V/S

Again Im sorry, I do understand that you guys worked hard on it, but its not for me in what i was looking for in that model

Im still unimpresed with the VC but i love the external model. Working on this repaint - it will be my first and last as the paintkit is a real PIA and there is no proper layering for the engine painting.
