I have the underside photos...and know what the wing designs are....just looking for a suitable '30' font to get striped....

It's the tailplane logos left and right I need some detailed pics of....and the metallic will just be a spec issue....like chrome...;)

Is the 'red' definitely just a straight red? I have it as 255,0,0 - true red....as a good photo showed as such.
 
Got the wings done....dragged screaming from that photo posted....
Now to hunt down those logos...;)

Roland...yes, see those 2 images you posted.... 2 entirely different 'red' colours.
That's where the problem lies. Because we rely on photographs for colours we can end up with conflicting information....and red in particular does not always reproduce correctly in photography/printing. The only way to be sure is to either see the plane in the flesh .... or find a colour code for it in BGR or similar.

I have a poor resolution image of the right side tailplane graphic....but it's not entirely clear enough to redraw...

Yes, there's always something in a paint on a specific model that just 'can't be done' ....and on this one it's the back half of the 3 stripes on the underside of the fuse.... and the lower jaw likewise isn't exact.

About the only way to 'fix it' is to get [the plane] down and dirty ...and cover the issues with dirt...;)

Edit ....added the dirt...the 'gold' now flares correctly....and it's at the point of diminishing returns...aka close to finished...

Painted the 'Institut Fliegen' logo by hand....
Here's the brass/gold flaring....and I think I'm about done.... even the spec for the 'red' will flare orange [a bit] ....and there's a bit more to do on the alphas for both main and spec.

All except the B-52 crew mistakenly dropping bombs on Capt Amerine's team ODA-574, it was a USAF JTAC that had been assigned to his team who was using a plugger (GPS) and forgot that when you reboot a plugger it resets to your own position. He changed the battery before the incident since it had a low battery indication. Then called in the airstrike giving that B-52 crew the coordinates off the plugger. It was the JTACs lack of attention to detail that got those men killed, not the aircrew.
