A Lockheed "Rounder"

Right, then. I do remember seeing a few screenies of the cockpit interior that Matt was working on, but that was a few posts back. I'm not real good in the area of 'deco' but I stand at the ready if you need a test pilot. I have a lot of time in the original WIP release and it was recently re-commissioned in the new FS9 install.

So does that mean you'd be willing to wring out the new R-2800 sounds for this awesome ship??? :jump:

There was a WIP release some time ago... with a spectacular set of textures depicting the Harpoon: "Attu Warrior" and Nigel's excellent sounds for those big radials. The 2D cockpit was a WIP and the VC, same. Despite that, the plane is very enjoyable to fly and the WIP panels are very functional. Matt Wynn was still working out the details for the cockpit interiors, I believe.
Since then there hasn't been a word to the best of my knowing...

Not to answer for Milton, but As I remember, he lost his gauge man... that set this and a few other projects back.

:bump:

Was wondering what happened with the Harpoon project. Any update?

Nigel is out of commission; nothing to do or release until he is back.

Meanwhile preparing S2Turbo's for release, awaiting textures for 2 new Dash 7 models to release, and awaiting final textures and FSX FM's for release of the three Fleet 50K models.

Other projects on hold awaiting Nigel's return are the AC680 redo and the xp47j.

Will be jumping back into the XP47H and F7F's redo once S2T's released.

Sounds like a full plate, Milton. Good news about the Tigercat and the XP-47 Series. The S2T WIP has been getting some test pilot time lately. The learning curve wasn't as steep...after learning about turboprops from flying your superb Dash-7.

Thanks for the comments.

I hope to get the S2T's FS9 versions out Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning at the latest.

Release will include the one PT6A CONAIR Tanker by Ferondoe, 3 CDF Tankers by Tankerguy72, and 3 Military Garret-based schemes by Dave Stewart.
Tankers will have the new Retardant release mechanism by H. Naegele and the new VC panel textures by Firekitten.

The FSX versions will likely be released Tuesday.
