Aero L-39 Albatros

One thing Mike didn't include is the auto pilot recovery. The button on the stick, and looks like a hatswitch to engage it. If the pilot starts to blackout he hits that button and the a/c will right it's self and fly level. Once the pilot comes too again he can shut it off. It's meant to save yer bacon. ;)

Gary, as far as I can tell, and according to the L-39C Operating manual, such an autopilot is not fitted by default, nor did any L-39 pilots mention it during development.

The left hat switch controls trim, and the right button is the gunsight camera release for recording strafing runs etc. I just scoured the manual again and can find no mention of such a recovery system at all. Is this something that Joe added to Pipsqueak?

Cheers,

-Mike

In a year or so. That means, only if everything goes well and I have enough time. So you'd better enjoy your Albatros for now. But what I miss more is a good L-29 Delfin...

Or an Iskra.
Or an Alphajet.
Or a Seastar.

So many jet trainers, so little time...:isadizzy: :d

You can set up a cold and dark start though by saving a flight with everything shut down and the fuel cutoff valve off. Then you have to follow the Saphir turbine engine startup procedure to get it going.

Cheers!

Hey Mike, is the sims start procedure the same as the real one? I would actualy know what I was doing then.
Got to fly in NX25AL for about an hour today. Lots of fun. Just makes me want this one all the more!

Dex, it is a real jet. It's just not as fast as the others... ;) But it flys like a dream. :d
