Aeroplane Heaven P-51D released

I was really on the fence about getting this, but seeing that the spinner issue and the modern bone dome option are on the list may push me over the edge. Nice job AH.

Jankees, I was just curious about the fonts you use. Do you hand draw most of them? I'm still carrying all the WWII fonts that were available at The SimmersPaintshop and have for years. I even have a nice set of stencil fonts now, but as far as the "handpainted" look of WWII letters, there are none out there. Most fonts today are symmetrically perfect, or just not right for repainting liveries going for that "close resemblance" to the real thing. Anyway, I admire your work and your attention to the details like that is amazing.

It's a combination of things. I make use of all the WWII and other military fonts, but I adapt them where needed. In the red tail case, the markings are Amarillo as the base, with the stencil markings cut out of them. The serials on the tail of the other P-51's are in the font used by North American which I drew myself quite a while ago. I used the same font for the serials on my P-38's. Anything different, like the M of the registration on Bud's Comet I draw myself , same as the nose art in most cases.

I've found that with the latest update the Fuselage tank gauge no longer works. It reads 0 no matter how much fuel I load in it. Another thing I noticed is the cooler flap switches revert to "closed" if you dis-engage and re-engage the safeties, which are supposed to hold the switches in the auto position.

Does anyone know which texture file affects the high speed spinner? I have a patterned spinner I'm working on, that needs a few dashes of colour mixed in rather than spinning pure black.
