Aircraft compatibility in Prepar3D V4

I installed the P-51 very briefly. It seemed to load everything ok, except I had no sounds. I would assume because of the p-51 specific dll file in the panel, which I would imagine is 32bit.

Mine works with sound, though it's the WWII fighters series. The 109 works, too.

It is A2A. Not everything works perfectly, but good enough for me, same with the A2A P-47.

Thanks Jankees, which things don't work? I have sat in my hangar unused but definitely not unloved A2A's B-17, Spitfire, Cub, P-47, P-40, Stratocruiser and P-51. I tried the Cub but it was a disaster! Regards, Mark

Has anyone had success getting the Classics Hangar Dora/Ta-152 package working in 4.1? I'm pretty sure it worked great for me in 4.0 but in 4.1 the engine control system seems to be messed up. I have no automatic RPM control and the boost system doesn't seem to work either. The other two 190 packages work perfect.

This is probably known to most, especially if you purchased from the Milviz store, but I just came across it:

Milviz's B55 twin and helicopters MD530 and Bell 407 have all been updated for P3Dv4. You can re-download from the place
where you purchased.

Just in case anyone else may have missed.

Is there a preferred way to move files over from FSX to P3Dv4? I know I could use the installers if the developer has both versions, but many of my FSX models are modded, addition repaints, Tacpacked, etc. I've looking at using a thumbdrive or WD portable drive.

For me, unless the add-on is both FSX and V4 compatible, using a installer, I install to a dummy directory, and manually move files to V4. Estonia's Migration Tool has worked well for me as well. Pete

Once I see that a particular addon (aircraft or scenery) is compatible with P3Dv4, I have been moving the necessary files from my FSX install without any issues.
I just migrated ACG’s Duxford and related traffic to P3D last night.
Easy peasy!
