Anyone know what ever happened to the AlphaSim B-52? I remember they had one for the longest time for FS9.

It's not resurfaced at Virtavia. I sent a message to Phil, as I'd like to get my hands on it as well, but never got a reply.

The Alphasim is/was a B-52G & B-52H. There is a freeware B-52, over at Simviation from "Team KBT" that has a B-52H, B-52D, XB-52 and B-52G; also one of them is carrying an X-15! No VC, but not a bad package. No -B as far as I know Steve, sorry.

I have the Team KBT B-52 Pack and it's got some pretty cool animations including flexing wings, drag chute, as well as the usual assortment of goodies. I added a different 2D panel that I thought was more accurate as well as sounds. FS only allows for 4 engines so I had to find a soundset that would make the "Buff" shake the ground when it took off, and actually fool it into thinking that it had 8 engines instead of 4. There are a few repaints out there for that one too including a "Memphis Belle" photoreal by Yago9.

Ah well, worth a shot. If you ever hear of one drop me a PM. SOmething about the tall tail ones I really like. Perhaps have to make my own one day...a long way away that is!
 
Team KBT B 52 is a really nice effort, I shelved it though for lack of decent 2D panel - with side views. If anyone could help me find a decent cockpit package albeit 2D I would gladly take her out of my hangar and go for high speed low altitude penetration over... say +++beep+++... !!!!
 
You are absolutely right, the B is long tail, but looking at pics of the D, that is the one. The stressed skin black and camo Vietnam era version. Love this one, ever since seeing it up close at Duxford. In THAT case, I'm off to Simviation to check out the Team KBT 'D' referred to earlier in this thread! Yipee!
