As the nature of things progress...

Now that Milton's beautifully modeled TP Grumman Mallard looks pretty much ready for its much anticipated debut, here is a reminder of my intended work program.
I intend to complete outstanding projects in the following priority order:

1. HMS Bounty Launch - texture work/paintkit.

2. Bounty Harbour Scenery - finalise scenery for initial fs9 release.

3. AVRO Tutor/Trainer Package finalisation for release.

Hi Nigel,

Any news for us?

Cheers,
Robin

Hi Nigel.
Has the work program stopped?
Cheers Chris

Hi Chris :)

Stopped work? Are you kidding? LOL

Getting in 12-14 hours per day - many friends perhaps don't realise the hours, effort, and sometimes even loneliness hidden behind these projects.

But we wouldn't have it any other way - it's what we do.

Hi Nigel,

Any news for us?

Cheers,
Robin

I think so, Robin.

The Connection between AVRO, Bounty scenery, and Launch will eventually become apparent.

For the past couple of weeks, I have been literally

en GAUGED!

Amazing how time flies when researching, constructing and texturing each item for accuracy and realism.

Heck of a lot of fun, too!

Bounty and avro tudor projects

Haloo Friends,

in germany one say "good things need time"
so I must be patient to wait for your works to be to download and install.
But it' s hard to wait for so much pretty things to come.
Nigel says the sounds will again be better wow wow as would say my dog.
It is hard to wait but I know the outcome of your common works will be just ultimate.
So I will thank you all for the fine gifts you offer us
THANK YOU
yours
Papi with the greatest admiration

Excellent work my friend; you have been busy! :applause:
Thank YOU, My Friend, and mentor. :)

Beautiful work Nigel! Really a piece of art :encouragement:

Huub

You are most gracious, Huub - well I'm rather hoping you'll be treating the AVRO's with your own, very special art. :)

Haloo Papi, very wise saying, Sir. :)

LOL; you must have a great dog!
Thank you my friend for those very warming words - I won't forget your kindness. :)

As always, exquisite work Nigel!!
You humble me, Sir - just doing what I love. :)

Holy smokes, Nigel!! Beautiful rendering!

My jaw has officially dropped...!

Thank YOU Magoo! Now go easy on that jaw! LOL.

Nigel,

that looks absolutely stunning, words fail me.

Jamie

Knowing your own love and dedication to what we do, I take that as a very great honour, Jamie.
Thank YOU. :)

Great stuff Nigel.

Cheers Chris

Thanks Chris - it means a lot when things seem to be going 12. :)

Thanks Gentlemen.

Tribute to Sir Roy Chadwick's genius - now wouldn't that be something, H91?

That great designer was confidently putting welded steel tube and all-Metal Construction into the 621 series at a time when that other great rival - Sir Sidney Camm, was busy incorporating tried and tested wire-braced wood into their delightful little 'Hawker Tomtit'.

Sir Roy was later to design the AVRO Lancaster.

The same company test pilot on both 621Tutor and Lancaster was Capt. Harry 'Sam' Brown.

Progress on to variants

We now have what I believe to be a completed cowled AVRO 621 Tutor (including VC, textures, custom sounds).

So we're now busily carrying the improvements made to this basic model over to the other variants and float-equiped models.
