Hobbit

Just had a chat with the man on FB,he seems in good spirits and has a high regard for all you SOH peeps, says ''he will be back''!

On the 27th I will be released from the Rehab hospital.
It will take me some time to get my home in order since everything had to be moved out to keep it safe from the thief's in my neighborhood.
And it will be difficult because I still suffer from the spinal injury and can't use my arms well, and have only one leg that works.
I will be dependent upon a wheelchair and walker to get around, and there will be several more surgery's needed.
This is just the first step towards getting finally healed another year before all of this is finished.
I took my first steps without the wheelchair only a week ago, and i am still learning how to walk, but I am pleased to say that even this is wonderful.

I an very grateful to ALL who have helped and shown Great kindness to me during this ordeal.
My God Bless each of you here at SOH..

Thank you All.
Today I return to my Hobbit Hole, there is much I still face with this but today I am freed from this terrible place.
Thanks be to God..

Bravo Buddy! Great to see you home and back in to some sense of normality. You continue to be an inspiration through your strength and

persistence.

Cheers,

A posting from this afternoon.

Each day is a true challenge, but I got my shoe on my left foot today, and I will take any success I can get right now. I have fallen so far, that even getting a shoe on is a victory.
But that is how it is. And I will yet walk again and learn to use my arms again. Not giving up. No matter how painful this is I will not give in. Oh yea!! May even try the stairs today, if I can walk that far, I think I will give them a go too.

Easy Owen

Don`t rush it Owen we don`t want you falling down stairs, one step at a time young man.
Regards,
alcanallen.

Got hurt badly many years ago when i fell around 40 ft. and took a long time to walk, use arms and still suffer with brain injury problems. It was a miracle that i survived and have GOD to thank for it. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you and NEVER GIVE UP. He's not done with you yet.

Owen is talking about needing to go back into the Hospital again because he's finding it impossible to take care of himself, and the pain is too great to endure.
