******attn prayers and help needed for one of our own*****

The pain has stopped me, still home. But my support has disappeared. Trying to get a doctor once I receive my needed info from the Ohio medicade system. Everything is moving at a snails pace here..
Because of the untreated spinal injury this has become a fight just to survive..
God bless each of you Thanks for your kindness.

Sorry for your pain. Took me many years to get better so a lot of patience is needed with some injuries. Hopefully your medicaid won't take so long and you can start to heal soon. My prayers are with you.You are missed here. Thanks for letting us know what's going on. Regards,Scott

Hang in there as best as you can Owen, something positive has gotta give sooner or later. Alot of people have you in their thoughts and prayers and hoping you return here soon to fly again.:encouragement:

Okay,, I realize how badly I was hurt, Many have told me, I wasn't expected to live..I was told also by a doctor That I didn't realize this either. Carlos, also showed me a video today of me the first few days, after the wreck,..DAMN.. I don't remember much of the first two weeks of this ordeal.. And I guess that I am Blessed, (not that I deserve it.) One thing is for sure still fighting, the pain, and not giving up. Hobbits are hard to Kill, Thanks be to God..

Thanks guys,
doing my best to not allow the pain and troubles stop me, even got my desktop computer reloaded and setting up for missions.
Yes the Hobbit missions factory is recalling all the workers ad setting up for full production.
Thanks everyone for yur kindness and support during this ordeal.
It isn't over, but I am trying to endure and return..

:wavey: Hi there good buddy, talking bout being alive. In 1994 I had a major cranium aneurism, my neuron surgeon told me I had an one tenth of one percent of surving, here I am twenty some years later and like a Timex, still alive and ticking, tacking a licking. Got a tear in my left rotator cup six weeks ago, ouch, please excuse my typos. So hang in there Owen, I have you in my prayers.
God bless
Len

Merry Christmas to ALL my Brothers and Sisters Here at SOH.

I just got back from a short visit with Owen this afternoon to bring him lunch, and drop off a Christmas gift. He's still struggling with finding his way through the Ohio Medicaid support system, and is in a great deal of constant pain. He sends his thanks for the support you all have shown him.

I got a request from Owen this morning that he still needs our prayers.

The week before last he made a connection with a different hospital (Ketterning) that was willing to take him in and fix his problems right away. (Praise God!) He refused because he had to settle some issues with his living situation first, but was planning at the time to go back in a few days and take them up on their offer. During those few days the apartment below him was broken into, making his long term departure back to the hospital even more problematic.

I know he's constantly suffering in pain, and has been tempted to go the illegal substances route. He already has the additional burden of facing an insurmountable debt he can never repay, so adding the local dealers into the mix is not a complication he needs right now. The State and VA support his was counting on, has never materialized. He lives in a part of town that I'm afraid to venture into even in broad daylight, so I've not gone down to see him very often. I'm certain that it all seem pretty hopeless to him most of the time.

Hate to say it but he needs a good lawyer . I had to do that a it worked out good for me. Have SSI and Medicare . Make too much for Medicaid . Hang in there Owen ! Best Regards,Scott
