B-17 Accusim Released!!!

Hey Snuffy... Yeah those black bands could be a bit bigger, but if you look at several photos from the 401st, they were done several different ways. As a matter of fact, I bet no two were exactly alike... There was a photo somewhere of a line of them parked and every tail was painted in a diff. arrangement.
 
the more i fly this, the more i wish the whole interior was modeled, it'd be great to "walk" from the tail to the nose :engel016:

If I may though, the "The Mighty Eighth, Warpaint and Heraldry" by Roger Freeman says of the 401st BG tail painting, that the black lines on the yellow slash are at least 4 inches wide and the slash is 48 inches. I think you need more on both the black bands. :)

This publication is highly recommended for all painters of this bird ...

Yeah, I wish such nextgen sims will make it possible.

I think that a separate model, which would have featured full cabin could have been provided, but it´d have had much worse performance and higher price.

I don´t know about the polygen count of this plane, but apparently it´s very reasonable, as people can use laptops to fly it.
 
The fix is in a PM Scott sent me. I would send it to you, but I think it may be personalized to my computer. You should PM Scott on the A2A forum and see what he says.

Jankees, you are the man!! :jump:

We get great planes and then you and others bring these planes to life! Just can't say enough about the quality of paints we are getting with the FSX aircraft.... really incredible like I can reach out and touch it.

Have enjoyed your work over the years... like I am buying multiple aircraft for the price of one!
