Battle For Europe Problem

Good morning Rams!

Good grief, Rami, I have been at CFS2 since it first came out. When and why did I become such a perfectionist for the sim???

I used to just fly around and shoot down whatever enemy aircraft were on the screen in graphics which resembled more of an arcade game than actual aircraft and world.

I blame FS2004 and FSX........(as IF that actually solves my perfectionist tendencies).... :mixed-smiley-027: :biggrin-new:

:very_drunk:

Lee,

And there I was, this morning, typing my response and resisting the urge to call you a rivet-counter. :banghead:

I guess holding back my tongue was a waste...:costumed-smiley-034

ROFLOL!

I can tell you that I LIKE Kurt's and your modifications to the FDG2 P-51B. It is now stable in flight and as you indicated, turns much better.
I just flew the escort to Berlin with it. NICE.
I spent too much time/fuel dog-fighting and had to glide to within 10 miles of the UK coast before bailing out at 2,000 feet over water.
One can glide a Mustang for quite a few miles at 125KTS from 22,000ft losing between 500-1000 on descent gauge.
Sub picked me up. All good. Mission successful except for reaching final WP.
