Hi Bry, don't party too long, you've got some cargo to deliver ! Ted doesn't want his pilots to laze around.

Nice scenery and shots.
I wonder whether the weather is correctly represented though. I remember some nasty fog on the coast from several vacation visits to Peru... Must be about the season for that now, no? :icon_lol:

Yeah your right there mate . I`m going over in a weeks time and its late Autumn / Fall there . Despite its near equatorial location the weather is often relatively cool and often foggy / smoggy at this time . I think I read that it`s because of it`s proximity to the Humbolt current , creating cool onshore winds to collide with the warm air of the continent . This misses says its currently clear but with the usual thin cloud at low level . FSX doesn`t show this :(

Didn't know of the Peruvian connection. You are truly a man of the world, Bry. Thanks for the story of your thrilling ride to Cajamarca. Hope you enjoy the evening in Miraflores.

After a nice friday night in Miraflores it`s back to the mountains . The family are a little concerned as I leave , a few tears ,

Safe arrival at Cuscotopia SPZO . Weather turned real nasty about 25 mins out right by a 20000ft range just to my left , cleared a little as neared the cuz vor then I followed the ridge on a long downwind leg and steep turned into the valley , descending for Rwy 28 . Good approach and the rain started exactly as my wheels touched . A bit frightening as I thought my PC had locked up as it went all laggy

Safe arrival at SPNP Puno . Bit hairy for first half hour leaving cusco . Clouds were very heavy and zilch visability and the knowledge that I`m flying amonst many mountains considerably higher than me  Passed through okay from luck rather than judgement , then weather cleared giving way to a spectacular flight to the Juliaca VOR near the shores of Lake Titicaca then follow the road to Puno . The locals were elated to see the Alpaca fleeces . Happy customers
