Thank you for your answer. I just asked in case you had done such maps, like MR did.
I think I am going to follow your advice and try to draw such maps for all the airfields/aeras you have done.
When it will be done, I will upload them, with your permission, at the SOH library

If you add all the airfields to the airbases.dat file you can see them on the map in the game, also in Free Flight.

A lot of the info for the smaller PNG landing strips came from the Australian Army's Terrain Studies.

Monash Uni has a good collection of these studies online, but the access can be a bit patchy for downloading.

Also, don't discount some of the US & AUS army campaign histories, the maps contained in them often helped me in locating some of the less well known strips.
