With these bases I now have have everything for to cover the AVG from December 1941 to July 1942.28 missions are already done of over 40 missions.The Defense of Rangoon is done and is 26 missions and since you did the other bases I decided to do the others.

I continue to work away on this. So far I have extended to coastline North & West from the Irrawaddy Delta & have gotten as far as Ramree Island, placing ELS at Kyaukpyu & Sandoway. Land & waterclass additions are done, rivers & (a few) roads & tracks are completed.

I'm now drawing coastlines West past Akyab & heading towards the border near Cox's Bazaar.

Whilst G2K files compile I'm continuing to work on repaints & mods for Acwai's Hurricanes (as it's the only place you can start the war in a Hurricane & still be flying Hurricanes at the end:costumed-smiley-034)

I have several skinpacks for Acwai's Hurricanes ready to go, together with a set of airfile mods to depict aircraft fitted with a Vokes filter. 🎱

Just need to find time to test the airfile mods some more in mission profiles.

I can take off Stuart's Argus & transit to Malta (operation Hurry), no problem, so long as she's steaming at max speed :neglected:

I know it's not photorealistic, but given CFS 2's age & limitations, the results can still take yor breath away on occasion.

When you work with Rhumba's mesh you can get close enough that visual landmarks & terrain features become recognisable & the immersion factor is greatly improved. Better than fighting for your life over cartoon scenery IMHO ...

I came across some info about the lighthouses around the Indian Ocean area.

I was surprised at how substantial some of them were.

Steve2112's generic lighthouse just wouldn't do them justice, so I opened up GMax & got to work...
