Some nose details below. Slowly working my way towards the tail.
This is what's supposed to become the default factory paint.
All wooden parts receive a clear coat of lacquer while all metal and fabric parts are painted in what they called "Silberbronze", a silverish paint with some aluminium particles in it, kind of an early metallic paint. Some may know this kind of paint from the old days when stovepipes and the like where painted like this.
Some shots with a bit of color, a first take on D-EJOL, our reference aircraft for this project.
Note the registration code doesn't use the correct font yet.
...and merry christmas everyone!
@Dangerous Beans: D-EJOL will most likely not use the configurable reg decal, being a historic aircraft. I think there'll be one or two in the package with that feature such as the factory paint version you can see on the earlier Screenshots.
Ah, cool, so you're a member in Eutingen!
I've been there last year in june and took a lot of photos.
Plan was to also record the engine sounds, but due to unstable weather your "Präser" wasn't really inclined to move her out of the hangar.
I hope to catch up on the recording session next month.
Keep your fingers crossed "und leg ein gutes Wort für mich ein", hehehe.
