Dornier Do24 T3 flying boat - Released!

Dornier Do-24 history

good evening UncleTgt,
oh thank you for this link.
Realy very interesting!
So for an eventual dutch cockpit there are just the engine gauges and the radios to change.
Would be nice also if some one will make an australian paint sheme for the ship.

Great site!

Papi,

This site http://www.goodall.com.au/australian-aviation/dornier-24/dornierDo24.html mentions instruments still being in german "Not only were the instruments and controls different from those we had been accustomed to in British aircraft, but they were still labelled in German."
Of course this quote could also mean the instuments were labelled in Dutch...

A very good source of close up pics (good ones at that) to correct or "accurize" repaint details... especially the forward turret interface...
Thanks

G.

Do-24 in Australien colors

Hallo Friends,

the site mentionned in the tread before inspired me to do an australien repaint of the Do-24 as I reworked the panel corresponding to the dutch Aviolanda Do-24, with german primary flight instruments and us engine and radio enhancements
here how the ship looks
