Did you install eto in the default folder (c:\program files\microsoft games)?

... and when you chang to era 2, the Battle of Britain splash screens are showing, both the small and the full screen?

Thank you for answer. I think now I can explain the reasons for the problems.
In era 2, 3, 4 in QC we have many airfields in the location field to click but only numbers etc appear.
For example in Germany and Great Britain only some airfields have after the click the real name and work correct. Is that ok? Than I have to except.

Pardon, I have another question: Can you tell me, where I can find a german JU 52 with a glider in the back? I have seen a screenshot of ETO EXPANSION with this two aircrafts.

sorry, I didn't reply earlier... real life etc...

There is no Ju52 with attached glider that I know of. But there is a Halifax (at least I think so) whith a glider in ETO...
 
I tried installing the ETO 1.0 and my anti spyware program said a trojan horse was blocked from installing. The path to the trojan is \microsoft games\cfs3 eto expansion\ cfs3 eto expansion bdp zapper.exe. Has anyone else had this warning when istalling the ETO expansion?

:kilroy:Flying Buckeye, there is no virus or Trojan horse, in ETO. Starting about a couple of months ago, various AV programs began to identify the ETO BDP Zapper as a trojan or a virus. This is a false positive.

You have to instruct your AV program to ignore or allow this file.:d
 
Lots of us get that, especially on ETO Backup.exe and ETO BDP Zapper.exe - they're false positives and we've been getting these for a couple of months now. Tell your AV software to ignore these two files, they're safe.
 
sorry if this is an obvious question but do the firepower heavies work in ETO? i saw a downlaod about them on the site and wondered if i need that if i own the copy of CFS3 WIth firepower? thanks

:kilroy:CrisGer, first, you have to have a FirePower install.

DO NOT install ETO through it. Use Martin Wright's multicfs3.exe to create an install separate from your stock CFS3 install and your ETO install.

Copy the B_24J, B_17G, b_17f, and B_17_shared folder from the FirePower install into the aircraft folder of your ETO install.

Then simply install the FirePower_USAAF_Heavy_Bombers_2eto.exe pack from the Aussiex site. All the heaviy bombers you can handle, along with a good number of missions built for use in ETO. It's good stuff.:d

Thanks Grizzly, that is exactly what i needed to know. I remembered there was some special way to do this, and we could not install ETO thru the firepower one but was not sure. thanks so much. Will follow your instructions.

Questions about crash

When I try to warp in the campaign or sometimes even a regular mission, it crashes. I noticed that if I take it off of high resolution it does it less.

Does anyone know what this is?
 
do i need to install all avhistory and ground crew and red hangers planes?
i ve installed eto 1.0 then 1.20 and except 4-motor planes, all of themm seem to work
also, how do i make other nationalities airplanes work+it says error on flag,then,if you try to fly them, game doesnt respond

what planes / nationalities?
 
lancaster, b-17, halifax, he-111,wellington and manchester
nationalities:eek:nly work usa, raf and germany(the default ones)

Did you patch your CFS3 to 3.1a before installing ETO?

And maybe did you try to install the planes into CFS3 or into ETO? Because in ETO, all the other nationalities are already present.
