f4 Phantom

Thanks for the link, stiz.. I'm really looking forward to this one, even if my wife:a1089: and my bank:violent: are not.....:applause:
 
If I am able to straighten out my system and FSX then this will be a must have. Hopefully A2A will make the outside sounds just like the real phantom...obnoxiously loud!
 
Looks good ! The old "Smoke and Thunder F-4 Hog"....I remember when the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels were flying F-4's....windows would rattle, but what a show !
 
To be honest I'm sick of Phantoms theres so many of them available, while the vc and model looks epic like as always from A2A, I'm slightly disappointed that they chose to make this "bus" and not something like a decent Tornado Gr4 or Mig 29 or something else more fun like that!!
 
As I remember, they were photographing and studying an F-4C/D up close. They could turn out an F-4B/J out of this project quite easily I suspect. Hope so. Would love to do carrier ops with a new FSX native Phantom.

The old Rhino surely deserves a spot in FSX in a high quality model such as this. I too would like to see a fine Mig or Sukhoi and yes even a GR4 but neither of those jets even in combined records of combat have or will ever have the legendary status of the F-4 in both Air to Air and Air to Ground action/sorties flown amongst it's users. The Rhino is old but true legends never dull.
 
I can almost feel the acceleration kick as the ABs come in again. Lordy, lordy, Phantom Phyers heaven.

*rummages in closet for old flight suit.*
 
Phabulous Phantoms Phorever! remember seeing the HAF (Hellenic Air Force) RF-4's flying over as a kid, always one aircraft i could rely on to brighten my day, bring on the Phantoms! *praying for an RF-4E* heres a video we can all enjoy.... Blink and you'll miss it!

We already have the Ark Royal so along with this we only need a Sea King and a Buccaneer to go on her.

OK, NO chance of me waisting my money buying it, the bus, even if we get a full British spec one with the Rolls-Royce Spey afterburning Turbofans which out climbed and out powered the American engined ones, thirsty yes!! And even if we get skyflash missles!! I just don't like her!!
 
Gee Peter, what'd the Phantom do to you to elicit that sort of a reaction? I worked on the Phantom for five years and though they were a beast, they were also a great airplane with a distinguished history.
