File Library Teams

I have very little time what with my physical therapy, setting up my new laptop (win 11 system) and just plain laziness. I do want to help though. Can you recommend a smaller category for me to upload, like effects or gauges?

The CFS2 Ships - Other Navies section needs doing. It has only 27 files. Thanks for your help - every little bit counts.

Marked CFS2 Other addons, Usio legacy and CFS 2 1% Aircraft as DONE. @Ludo put you down for working on French skins.

Also going to work on CFS 2 Aircraft - Other Aircraft Add-Ons.

French skins section is done. For this section and for the Usio legacy section if a staff member wants to check everything is alright please do. I will start the Russian skins section tomorrow.
 
Ludo: Usio legacy and French skins section look good to me. Marked them as done and put you down for Russian skins section.

I have just started the Ship repaints.
Some of the names of the original .zip files are not too good:
ships
virtualnavy
GC
I have changed them.
Skins for the HMAS V W destroyers
Skins for Virtual Navy RN Ships
Skins for RN ships by GroundCrew
Is that a problem?
 
I see nothing wrong with making the zip name clearer if add a note to the upload listing the old name.

Feel free to change the names of the downloads. In the case of the scenery section, at least two thirds of the actual zip files are different from the names of the downloads to which they pertain. I don't think the names of the downloads need to have the .zip suffix. Making the download name more precise can only make it easier to find with the search engine.

Thanks for all the good work. I've done the main scenery section and should finish the library objects tonight before going onto the mesh section. This is in between the tedious task of deleting hundreds of files from the old library.

At least the weather in Sydney has been good for this kind of work, hasn't it Stu?

They are now uploaded.

CV5 Yorktown by Ti Loup is a duplicate

USS Hornet has had its tile changed to V2.0.

I am starting with the Kelticheart Legacy section but I stumble upon a duplicate with 2 different thumbnails and description, do I keep both of them or do I regroup them in a single download?
