For those who had given up all hope... (Fokker G-1A)

Well actually when the war started the Dutch had 23 operational G-1 fighters.

11 aircrafts were stationed at Waalhaven where 8 succeeded to start despite the German bombardment. Together they shot 11 German arcrafts during the first attack.

12 aircrafts were stationed at Bergen where only one aircraft succeeded to take-off. He was not able to shoot any German aircrafts. On May 13 the pilot managed to shot one Bf109 with this G-1, which was actually the only "kill" made by 4th JaVa (4th Fighter Squadron)

Although the G-1 was seen as the best Dutch fighter, the humble D.XXI was actually much more succesful. They shot German aircrafts (including several Bf109s and Bf110s) in a ratio of 1 against 1.75.

The G-1 is looking superb! The video got my drool reflexes going full strength...because of the G-1 and the music....who does that song, what is the name of it. I have to find it!

Just differential brakes [F11] and [F12], cause my joystick have only one throttle and I'm tired to hit e1, e2 or e12 each time I need to turn.
