• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

As said before, I'm not a helicopter man. They are difficult to fly and too slow in my opinion. But when I had to choose a favourite helicopter it is definitely this one! The Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri !

I like this one as well, as its one of the few helicopter I can actually fly and perhaps even more odd: I can even land it where I want.

Still a great model indeed, especially with líguane's repaints. However its a pity the VC is showing its age and doesn't have much room for improvement.

I still need to do a repaint in the 1966 Whiskey four scheme.....................

Was done by Mark Adams of Dodosim; think it was only ever a 'beta' ; as you say was on Hovercontrol . I've checked Wayback Machine; but its' not gettable through there :(

Maybe see if we can upload here for posterity?

Hi Pete,

The version I have is the beta2 model. I still have the original download including the manual. The vision is from 2006 and I think this is the last beta made available.
I have contacted dodosim to ask Mark Adams's permission to upload it here for preservation.

Indeed a great model Pete, however I can recall there was a livery package for it and when I had installed that package, I suddenly had a quite few Andovers too much..... :biggrin-new:
