FS2004 Screenshots Here!!!

Does anybody know if this is still purchaseable somewhere ? I remember i had it, but lost it due to a major HDD Crash with 70 Terabyte of Flightsim Addons… and can’t find it anywhere anymore…

Sorry, I can’t help. I don’t have it either.
I installed it a long time ago. I burned the installers to DVD and checked them now. Some of them don’t work, and there’s nothing on the live ones.
I don’t suggest any illegal methods. Especially since it’s not there either (I checked )))))).
It’s sad because if it crashes on me, I won’t have anywhere to get it from either. ((((((

I know it had been sold by Flight1 once… but can’t even find it anylonger at Flight 1’s website… to sad, so many great FS9 stuff has gone in the meantime…

What can you do?
It’s time to accept that we’re already old people who fly old planes to old airports in an old simulator... )))))))

Tupolev G-2 (ANT-6) fly over Novosibirsk

What can you do?

You can fly the Tupolev G-2 (ANT-6) over Novosibirsk
Gotta say I’m not too much of a fan of the TU-G2… rather go for the Avro Lancastrian over the UK instead.
Or if I want to stay with SWISSAIR, I’d rather go for the DC-6B or the DC-7 which are still available as a Freeware… and provide some pretty cool Swissair Liveries.

Oh, if I knew where to get an Avro Lancastrian, or even better, a York, with a virtual cockpit at least as good as this ANT‑6, I’d prefer them too. )))

- FSDG Heraklion X Airport Scenery (Sold by Aerosoft)
- Crete Photoreal by Hellenic Actual Scenery (the former Greek Airports GAP / Hellas Scenery HSP Team)
They provided a Photoreal for the whole Greece… but unfortunately it is not available anylonger… as the former Greek Airports Team Website has closed down as well…
The Greek Airport Project MeGAPack and the HSP All-in-one packs are over on Avsim.

Not sure if those include all the Hellenic Actual Scenery Photoreals though... haven't checked them out
"The package includes all freeware scenery created by the HSP team for Greece in FS9 up to June 2009. The package bundles all HSP released scenery in one pack which was necessary following the loss of several files after avsim’s file library crash. By using this scenery you do not need to download anything else from HSP. Included are detailed airport sceneries of LGAL Alexandroupolis, LGAV Athens Venizelos, LGIR Iraklion, LGKO Kos, LGMK Mikonos, LGSA Chania, LGSO Syros, LGSR Santorini as well as HSP base scenery with essential improvements to other airports and finally the detailed mesh terrain for all Hellenic territory."

That Brings back memories! Like their Spit 16!

Us 2020'ers just got a 16 again!! :jump:
I've still got the Spitfire XVI, luckily I bought that at Simmarket.com who save your purchases properly. Sadly unlike Flight1, where I bought the Lancaster and Lancastrian.

Something I've been goofing with:

C17VC.jpg

The Virtavia C-17A for FS9 with some alternate cockpit lighting.
The screen shot doesn't tell the best story but, I got the VC lighting a lot more dialed in. :geek:
The problem was that Virtavia designed the C-17 more for FSX and there were too many lights defined for the VC in the aircraft.cfg file for FS9.
I also changed up the lighting color to more of a "cool teal". The HUD shows up better in-game than what you see above.
So, no more looking at the co-pilot's displays at night. :wiggle:
I want to refine this a little more and do some final QA to make sure everything works then I'll start a new thread showing how to do the fix (its easy) and I'll also upload the "teal" VC light fx.

Hmm very nice S, looks more realistic, and is easy on the eye. Look forward to your findings and post.

Cheers

Shessi
