Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Hi Pete,
I emailed Roy back in 2020, and got a reply from his wife, Dinah. His Parkinson's had got worse, but he was coping with it, unfortunately he had also had a bad fall and broke his neck (ouch!). Because of these issues he will not be coming back to the sim world. At the time I passed on 'our' best wishes, and hopefully he can maintain a good quality life in the future.

I had originally emailed him to get permission to use his B-25 for CFS2 projects, which he was fine with.

Cheers

Shessi

Here's a lot more rigging Huub!

A model that dates back to FS2002 no less, bet you didn't know that later fs2002 models built in Gmax or fsds2 worked in fs2004?

I knew! I knew! Got a lot of them in my hanger with all the FS9 planes I never have time to fly.

Sadly, I had a lot of FS2002 models built with earlier software that don’t work in FS9 that I didn’t ever get time to fly before I abandoned FS2002 to go to FS9.

Got ‘em! Got those HPs too. It’s great to see them after they languished in the hangar for so long.
