Model by David Hanvey and Paul Barry based on Paul Rebuffat's single seater 109s. Tweaks and incredible repaint were done by l'iguane.

It is from Operation Valkyrie, one of the best addons for FS9 made by Lionheart Creations

It is indeed the Operation Valkyrie ; think you can still find it on Sim-market.

I could be mistaken, but I dont think it is from Operation Valkyrie.

Valkyrie also comes with a nice Bucker Bestmann, Me323 and Kubelwagen ; scenery is Marble Arch ,Libya (near present day Ras Lanuf) named for the historical monument the Arch of the Fileni; (destroyed in a fit of pique by Gaddafi)... which I'm tweeking with some ez scenery add-ons, and statics

Obvisouly I missed them too. Thanks Pete to have shown the formation. The He 111 has been modeled like that. It's of course a better solution than mine, but who will do the rest (Ju-86, B-17 B-29, B-25 and so on)?

Well, I'm pretty old (77) but I don't remember this airplane. And I'm quite sure that if I'd ever had a look at it I never would've forgotten it! Now I can only wonder how someone who's been devouring aviation history for over seven decades somehow never even stumbled onto a picture of this beast.
