Just when you think you have everything running some what better...
You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.
If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.
To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.
Thank you for your support.
I’is that thing still downloadable somwhere? I've never installed that because i don’t really like to have fictional things in my Sim…
Allthough allways wondered what that “fictional” Swiss Military Bastion looks like…
Could you eventually provide a few more and wider shots of it?
They are not really that 'fictional'; google 'Furka Bastion'
per https://web.archive.org/web/20210509195048/http://things-to-come.com/downloads/ all freeware, but unfortunately the wayback machine has not archived the downloads; best then to ask around I suppose, especially as you so correctly put - no longer available anywhere - note that there was even an optimized version released for Switzerland Professional, and you'd presumably be wanting that...Any Idea on where I can still find it? as i googled it and it doesn’t seem to be available anylonger anywhere

I've ended up with 'LunarPilot', but somehow missed the Bastion.![]()
Okay, I arrived a bit late and its not a Lancastrian or a York, but the Handley Page Halton is quite similar in my opinion. Its free (Alphasim freeware) is an ex-bomber form the same generation as the Lancaster, it has 4 engines and has a VC, which definitely shows it age.Oh, if I knew where to get an Avro Lancastrian, or even better, a York, with a virtual cockpit at least as good as this ANT‑6, I’d prefer them too. )))

For those who have registered at CBFSIM, there is a 'tweaked' version there, modified for the VA there; the file is "vahalton.zip", you'll need to root around in New Releases section. The airfile snd aircraft.cfg have been tweaked to better reflect the Halton's performance and some improvements made to the panel. They recommend the Harry Follas Bristol Hercules set but, of course, this has now been superseded by the rather wonderful Gary Jones, in the Library here.Okey, I arrived a bit late and its not a Lancastrian or a York, but the Handley Page Halton is quite similar in my opinion. It is the freeware KRSW scenery from Mach 1 (M1D). I just updated it by adding the new tower. I also added some of the new taxiways and associated taxi signs with ADE.which Scenery of KRSW is that?
Historic Jet Group's wonderful new release of the Boeing 737-100 at K SRSW (Southwest Florida Regional Airport). I made the new control tower in GMAX.

Okey thanks… I remember, Nate Rosenstrauch once began a new one… but then unfortunately lost it due to an HDD Crash… and didn’t continue on it.. so it sadly never got released…It is the freeware KRSW scenery from Mach 1 (M1D).
