Strangely, the dashboard shows the registration number “N626TC”, but this livery isn’t included in the package. I’m having trouble finding any repaints. If anyone has any or knows where to find them, please let me know.

It was called New Amsterdam earlier. Which explains Yankees, which came from the typical Dutch name Jan Kees, like our repainter Jan Kees Blom here.....
Harlem, is named after the Dutch city Haarlem and Brooklyn is named after Breukelen a village close to Utrecht. Flushings after Vlissingen and Staten Island is named after the Staten-Generaal. And there are probably more......
In 1664 it was surrendered to the British to avoid a war. Nevertheless the war came the next year......
 
Huub, thanks for this short history excursion. I knew some of these name origins, and others weren't familiar to me.

The shown French Hermione was probably never there, but the site is more spectacular than Bay of Boston reached in 1780.

And don't forget Hoboken, which is also a district of my home town Antwerp.

It is indeed unlikely the Hermoine was ever there. Perhaps its better to use Erwin (Bavarian) Welker's line ship "Zeven Provincieën". Although it never was there as well, but at least it is Dutch (and a beautiful model!). And the famous Admiral on this ship came from Vlissingen (Flushings) in the Netherlands.

By the way the huge French role in the discovery of America is quite often overlooked. But that's an other history lesson......

The French history in North America is very well remembered, particularly in Canada. Not forgetting the French islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon less than 25 miles from Newfoundland.

French is the language and the Euro is the currency:

As I see a lot of civil airliners appear here, I thought I should add some.

The first full metal airliner which was taken in mass production. Model by Craig Ridchardson. And as I thought the default textures could use some improvement, I did a few repaints.

D-262 Fliege c/n 654. In standard Junkers Flugwerke livery. Built in 1923. The aircraft was sold to the Soviet Air Line Dobroljot in juli 1923.

D-188 Dohle c/n 593 in standard green Junkers Flugwerke Livery. . Built in 1921. The aircraft was sold to the Swiss Airline Ad Astra AERO in 1922. Based on a paintscheme for the MiniArt model kit.

D-158/Dz-31 Danziger Luftpost 1923. Based on a paintscheme for the Mikromir model kit and a picture from this aircraft after it had crashed..
