Manfred Jahn's beautiful C47 model, with an early Schreiner Airways livery. Schreiner Airways did almost everything possible inside aviation. Cargo- and passenger transport, banner towing, target towing with Spitfires, crop spraying, etc. The founder Bob Schreiner was a very interesting person. The company existed from 1945 until 2005. I guess the days of this type of adventurers were over by then.

Same guy also did GMMA S'Mara ; any chance I can get a copy of your exclude file for Laayoune please?
I have some default buildings popping up in mine.

Thanks

Pete

I hope that's the one you're after:

however, Laayoune has some problems with a non sticking ground poly...

Huub, can you identify the aircraft & the paint please.
It's always useful if we do not recognize the logo.
I had hoped the post was clear, as it contains all this information.

But the model is the FS9 verion of the C47 by Manfred Jahn. It used to be available in our library, but it seems to have gone missing. But its still available at : https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=c-47_basepack_fs9.zip&x=15&y=7

and the repaint is the Schreiner livery by me : https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/search/89359/?q=schreiner&t=resource&c[users]=huub+vink&o=date Actually one of the first repaints I did for this model.

Cheers,
Huub

Sorry Huub, I was too quick to post, much appreciated.

Calclassic Schiphol. Still there but now called Schiphol-East, for cargo, maintenance and small and private aircraft. In the sixties it used to a sort of mandatory place to visit with school in the days Cees Donker and I were still young......

Most buildings have been demolished and replaced by large office buildings. The control tower is still there, but now in use as restaurant. Now the tower looks tiny between the new high office buildings.

But I'm too young to have seen the Constellations over there!

Would be interesting to see a comparison to the Aerosoft Mega Airport Amsterdam Schiphol Scenery… from above… wonder what area the old Airport was back then and which buildings are now where and which ones where there back then and are still standing…

Not sure, if this was the old schiphol airport... as i seem to recognize some taxiways...

As per Google Maps imagery, it seems to be exactly the same area now:
Nice to see that they even added a football court and what it looks to me, even a tennis court.

A special guest at Schipol: in 1971 KLM wet-leased two Ilyushin IL-62.

During Cold War Western airliners were not allowed to fly across Russian territory. To solve this problem, KLM wet-leased two IL-62's including crew in 1971.The cabine crew was mixed KLM/Aeroflot.
