Just uploaded to here and flightsim.com some repaints for this bird.
Please see the most recent updates in the "Where did the .com name go?" thread. Posts number 16 and 17.
Man, I wish it was. In those shots it almost could pass for the P-61.
It's Uncle Milton's FSX A-26 Invader. I did a bunch of skins and an upgraded paint kit for it a while back. All those skins should still be on the site here. Same for the D-18.
Amazing...these are all freeware aircraft and easily as good or better than many pay ware.
heh.. had me fooled, and rob and i built the p-61.. I'm really sorry its never been finished.. Cant tell you how that makes me feel.. anyway. love your C-117 paints, they look awesome, and that A-26 looks better than it ever has..

Glad you like the work...thank you.
I got a feeling this bird is going to get the same treatment I gave the Invader. I'll finish the basic, then follow up with a high detail version. I'm leaning more and more towards enhancing the bumps.
Unfinished work...yep, I have a keen eye towards Milton's F7F. I'd love to take that one FSX native and really do the model justice. The lineup of the A-26, F7F and the P-61 would be pretty inspiring.
sure, you can find it here, together with all the USMC paints.
That includes this one:
give them a try, and if you like them, do post a screenie please?
These are great paints, but I could not help but notice that the tire textures were missing unless all black was the intent.

ooops, no, it was not...do you want an update?
I like that natural metal, maybe give a bit more depth with the spec alpha?

These two are almost ready. Just some final detailing here and there then ya'll can go flyin'. . . .

I turned up the volume on the alpha and spec alphas. Here's the deeper polish version. I'll just upload all four versions. Two with the "grumpy" service aircraft appearance, and two with the restoration deep metal look. I already like this bird...a lot.
