• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

"Norwegian Spitfire" - the real-world Spitfire Mk.IX, RR232, has just recently been painted in these markings for this airshow season, sponsored by the Norwegian Spitfire Foundation. It makes for a welcome change from the more common/general RAF markings.

I'm sorry Dave for not replying to you sooner...I do have a large number of repaints to release, a few of which I've shown here (they'll likely get uploaded sometime after this coming week, as it is the final week of the working year for me until September), but the Spitfire repaint was done by JensOle and can be found as one of the repaints included in his repaint pack here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=180&linkid=20689

Paint request for a Harrier

I did post this over at the paint forum but thought I'd post here as well. Hope that's okay.

I've got the Razbam Harrier - that I love. The GR7 (last used on Lusty). However, I also have the Sim Skunk Works Harrier AV-8B- which - if I'm honest - flies a lot better than the Razbam. However, the SSW Harrier came only with USMC paint and I'd love to fly the SSW AV-8B in RN colours.

Can you recommend a painter on SOH I could offer a couple of beers to to do the job? I have the paint kit from SSW - a .psd file and can supply some views of what I'd like for RN paint. Couple of beers via paypal waiting if somebody wants to get their brushes wet.

Get well soon!

Sadly.. Foxy Lady suffered a hydraulic failure after displaying at Duxford a couple of weeks ago culminating in a gear up landing at Yeovilton. The pilot did a great job and walked away unhurt but Foxy is going to be out of action for some time. Fingers crossed they're able to get her back in the air again.
