  • Special Server Maintenance

    Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

    You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

    If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

    To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

PANC Ted Stevens 1959

I am using the Calclassic PANC Ted Stevens Airport Alaska FS2004 version and it works perfectly in my FSX Acceleration, thanks Calclassic creators. I decided to see if I could add the SODE Snowplows that I have used at other of my airports that get a lot of snow. I used the FSX "Heavy Snow" weather to test it and it works really great. Merry Christmas or Happy Chanukah to you all too.

Love that desert landscape. Looks like it's near KPSP, maybe KBNG ?

I have Orbx KPSP (on sale now BTW), and love flying the Big Bear - Palm Springs - Monterey trip.
The route has everything from desert, to mountain, to ocean scenery included.
 
Actually, you're close... it's KTNP at Twentynine Palms, CA; and would fit right into your route. TNP scenery is really great in FSX. There is a dust storm, circling predatory birds, lot of AI traffic, including road traffic passing the airport. About $20.@ Just Flight.
