Westland Whirlwind (HAS7, HAR10) As much as I Like the S-55, it's not a proper Whirlwind.
Saunders Roe SR177 (With a Jaguar or Tornado style windscreen option, rather than the Delta Dagger type, so it looks a little more operational-It is a "what if" after all).
Bristol Brigand (or Buckingham or Buckmaster)

Nick, there is a Whirlwind HAR10 out there, not cutting edge, but not too shabby; check Flightsim, and search for Lucariny. Similarly there is a Brigand, from Ted Cook, an oldish model but not too bad; oh yes, to the Buckingham/Buckmaster. And a big oh yes to the SR177.

Where are you Gentlemen taking this...(?)

Yep! Fs9, Andy.
(Oops! I am in the right forum section...aren't I?)

If not my sincere apologies to all for posting in the wrong department

It's just where I personally feel more comfortable, and there's simply so much potential for further development.

Please, please...no flak from anyone on the old 9 versus X. - For me the debate doesn't exist and quite frankly, is childish, pointless, boring and I have no inclination or intention whatsoever in doing that!
EVER:-

And this fascinating, potentially productive thread, deserves positive, subjective input (nice thread Obio).

Okay! So I've clicked on where you mischievous fine men are taking this...are you sure you wish to go down that road?
(strong whiff of conspiracy in the breeze if I'm not mitaken).

Okay whizzkids, let's just consider your hypothesis for a moment...

Buccaneer (S1, S2).

So exactly who do you suppose is going to spend a zillion hours on this little modelling escapade then?

Or is it that I'm the last idiot on the planet (debatable) who didn't know, that all master aircraft modellers are simply itching to get stuck into putting this old smokey, noisy crate together?

Just been waiting for the green lights from you 'orrible lot I suppose!

Popular aircraft, be a winner!!!

Sure! And I think I know the names of all five Gentlemen who will be going for the D/L's! I'm onto yer!

Far more important than the 'E.E. Lightning' that's for sure! (That's already been taken to the dizzy heights of excellence already!)
Never a popular aeroplane anyway, loser from the start. (We all know how that one performed versus competition of the era...Yep! The less said the better!).

So who's going to be the lunatic to put this little 'daydream' together?
I can't think of one Mastermodeller who would go within miles of contemplating such a task.

He'd have to be blind, deaf, dumb or all of these things.

Daydreamers! All 5 of you!

Ahhh! Baaa! Wwwols!

ahh the Bananajet... the red flag specialist... just like the Jag became... under power lines at high speed, and US crews learnt the hard way to not try engaging them at low level :icon_lol:

reminds me to keep reading 'Phoenix Squadron'.... and working on my latest paintkit :icon_lol: yes i'm making a paintkit for the AS Bucc :) just a sneak peek below.... yes i found a 3-view with rivets on and y'all know me.... i'm a sucker for graphical punishment :icon_lol:

Buccaneerbananas splits

If I were to be presumptuous (and I dislike doing so, at the best of times);

If I were Milton; I'd go bananas just at the very thought of doing even a rivet for this non-starter.

And after all the action of the past few months, I'd be looking forward to kicking my shoes off at Christmas, enjoying family gatherings and well...good long plain R and R in the New Year!

Then I'd come back and throw you all something really awesome!

That's what he always does.

i completely agree with flyboy208 for the pucara
northrop XB35/YB49
piper seminole , cruelly underpowered airplane but used in many flight schools

1. A really nice DH Vampire F.3 or FB.5 with full VC modeled with the latest techniques and software
2. The Basler turbo-prop DC-3 (BT-67?)
3. An Aeronca 15AC Sedan

My three:
1) Beech King Air C90 with full interior (rumor has it Carenado is making one for FSX but I would love to see one for FS9)

2) Cessna 207 (I heard somewhere someone here is making one for FS9):jump:

3) Was gonna go with a Bede BD-4 but I'm with ThinkingManNeil--An Aeronca 15 Sedan would be AWESOME!

Can't miss an opportunity like this.......and 3 picks even!

...Yak-28 Brewer
...Mig-19
...CF-100 Canuck

.....I'm still living in the Cold-War past..ha!

Walt
Fly High...Punch Holes in the Sky

Andy, Matt...now that kind and Thoughtful Gentleman Neil has a point! :applause:

Yep! I could definately talk Vamp!

Matt, make sure you keep that roll of tape I lobbed you the other day, handy...

An UP-TO-DATE F-16D. Kirk Olssons model is good - on the outside - but the VC is very dated! I need something good to fly from my local AFB from...
a GOOD Eclipse 500. I've been inside one of these in real life - they are just heart-stoppingly beautiful planes, I must say, and none of the current models communicate that. at all.
and a newish version of the Lancair 2000. That's another plane I've had the privilage of observing at close-quarters, and it is much nicer in life than in photo!

i've got it handy... also got my 'worry beads' as the Brits call them in hand (or as we know them κομπολόι)... Greek cross hanging on the corner of my monitor also.... :icon_lol:as Andy can attest... i did actually start modelling a Vampire the other day, before my PC frazzled, will see if it still opens but expect nothing fancy, all i've ever made is buildings :icon_lol:

EDIT: Found it and it opens.... no model in yet but the viewport is ready..... see attached image.....

oooooh a new viper WOULD be fantastic.... i'm now drooling over Polemikh Aeroporia Block 52+/ADV's :icon_lol: (Got half an hour in one thanks to an old Neighbour in Larissa :icon_lol:)

It's tough to limit my picks to three, but I'd like to see:

Ju-88
F9F Panther/Cougar (a 2-fer?)
Douglas A-20

I know these are all available in one form or another, but they are all models I'd like to see updated with nice vc's.
