There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

There are 5 .psd files all together.
Separate files for each side of the fuselage (Left/right), for each set of wing surfaces (left/right), and the tail.
Thanks for the great reply.
I meant the non-chopped up version of the entire fuselage+tail to avoid any alignment issues with tricky repaints. It's a trial and error game without it. But not really that important.
One last question, since the PSDs are 1024x1024, I'm assuming textures are also the same resolution and not 2048*. Correct?
For multiple fuselage texture sheets I have sometimes assembled them into a single PSD file (i.e. 5120 x 1024 for 5 sheets). You can then paint as required and after all painting is done you can split the big sheet down into smaller ones again. That takes all the alignment issues out of the equation. You do end up with a huge PSD file with dozens of layers so layer management (using sub-folders) is critical.I meant the non-chopped up version of the entire fuselage+tail to avoid any alignment issues with tricky repaints. It's a trial and error game without it. But not really that important.

My understanding is the textures are 2048.
As long as they take to load in FSX on my old system, I would say they are.![]()
Pam if you resize up you blur the layers, things aren't as crisp as a fully native 2048*2048 paint kit, which i havebut is being used for the texture pack, finalised my scheme list...
