Its so nice to still have a FS2004 forum to go to...

So...let's not turn this into another bashing thread.....we've had too many of them in the past and they accomplished nothing.

OBIO

Bashing?...not my style old boy!
No where have I or indeed would I slander either fs9 or fsX. They're both part of the same thing.

Simply stating my personal preference for FS9...

...and humorously underlining what are unfortunately serious obstacles to less fortunate folk who would nevertheless like to enjoy the many interesting differences found between the two. :icon_lol:

Barbecue anyone...? :jump:

Sounds like a plan, it's typical barbecue weather here in the UK (i.e. it's p***ing down). :kilroy:

LOL :icon_lol: Thanks Andy for getting us all focused and back on topic!

...well I reckon if Smoothie's our paintshop man, Racartron our lighting expert and Hooky's making us rub our eyes at that tasty retro scenery then you, andy are the brains on the team. Always full of gen...I can't imagine where your brain manages to store it all.

SOH reminds me of a vast think tank! So much talent, initiative and drive.
Someone just comes up with an idea, next thing we know there's a host of people taking part in a spontaneous project.
And so often those folk, modestly having their say are making a valuable input to an evolving plan...

(icon:Mr S's famous cough:icon)...so what's the plan Gentlemen?...

I've suggested Obio's thread on tweaking Itosan's aircraft gets stickied, I think there are a ton of projects in there for us to look at, and it would be a nice gesture to Itosan for all the work he has done over the years.

..so what's the plan Gentlemen?...

I Don't know but.....*Puts Cigar in mouth* "I Love it when a Plan comes together!":icon_lol:

did someone say barbeque? want that steak nuked? want special sauce? OK i'll stop, thats Enough A-Team references for 1 post i think :icon_lol:

my personal plan..... wait whats a plan again?

and yes i agree it's horses for courses with simulators, everyone has their favourite, all have plusses and downsides but thats what makes the sim community so diverse... and we love it for it's diversity don't we? opens our eyes to new stuff!

No bashing FSX here either. I would actually love to try it which is why I bought it. I had the RTM version installed when it first came out. Dreadfully long waiting time to just load an aircraft and below 10 fps while flying default planes in the country just didn't cut it.
