I have been pretty busy so far and I will likely be travelling soon, repaints are progressing slowly. Depending on the time I can unlock this week, I might upload metal templates for the F-86 D&K version with corresponding alpha.bmp , so everybody will have material for painting his own liveries. I can upload as well the liveries I already did in a first package.
The fact is, I have too much Fs repaint/rework in mind and definitely not enough time to do it properly !

Hi, somewhat but as I've never used MDLMAT I'm in the dark at the mo. I'll look for it and acquaint myself with it though. Can you advise what I have to change and to what?

I'll enclose the tweaked mdl with my templates. Basically it's same than Ito's original file, Mick just turned the mdl into a reflective one (to allow alpha channel use on textures without getting a transparent airplane on fs, then I adjust the speculiar gloss slightly. That's all) The "core" of the mdl as well as the design remain same, and all copyrights go to K. Ito.

Here are enclosed the templates for the F-86D and F-86K. It includes both textures in BMP format and corresponding alpha's also in BMP.
I enclosed the mdl file turned reflective and slightly tweaked using mdlmat.
Dont hesitate to post your liveries on this thread, I look forward seeing nice things !

Many thanks for this, much appreciated. I look forward to producing some repaints of my own, perhaps starting with an Airfix subject ;-)
One thing though. I've had a quick look at the BMPs and the Fuselage.bmp and Fuselage_alpha.bmp files for the F-86D version still have US insignia on them whereas the F-86K does not. Could you provide an update with them removed?

Manuele, those skins look awesome. In the meantime I managed to attach a landing light (with ground light splash at night) to the native FSX mdl, PM me if you are interested.
A quick and dirty start. Still quite some work to do, but just to show that I'm working on a few Dutch liveries.This one is the Q-246 from 702 Squadron. (Fuselage roundel still too low, squadron badge to big, red lines on tail not yet correct, etc.)
Hank, I most probably will ask you for the FSX native model as soon as I have finished this one.
