IMO, a 'works perfect in FSX' aircraft would be one that can
be flown solely from the VC with 2D's only used for convenience.
I took the L-1649 for a short ride in FSX yesterday and the
first thing I encountered was having to resort to CTL+E to
start the engines. Manual starters are not always compatible
between FS9 & FSX coding.
Next, I had to go to the 2D to turn on the various lights ( Nav, Landing )
and to set the OBS.
This is a great looking model and if I were still flying FS9 I'm
sure I would appreciate having it in my hangar but for FSX
I would require a working FE station in the VC as well as all the
pilot/co-pilot/overhead switches to be operational.
I must admit, I've become a bit biased after having logged
in excess of 100 hours in the A2A B-377. And using TrackIR
makes a fully functioning VC a real joy to inhabit
I also have a beta L-049A with a fully operational VC that
I aquired some time ago from the original author.
