They probably can, but you would need permission from the original author first if you plan to upload it anywhere.

Thanks to Rami :salute: you'll can now have a sign at the entrance to the MASH compound so you'll know where you are and even a latrine. I think the bushes behind Rosie's have been watered enough. I believe I'll take tomorrow off.:sleep:

I sent an email to the contact of this web page that has the jeep made for CSF1. The contact was not the author however, I ask the contact if he would seek authors permission
to convert the jeep to FSX and also permission to post FSX conversion here at SOH. Anyway the link to the jeep in question in here:

Thanks for the link, just checked it out and no go, that MDL is really old and I couldn't convert it. While I can appreciate your enthusiasm, that one is really old compared to what we have now, plus there is already a drivable jeep, see the video posted earlier. I was working on one for my Vietnam scenery that was drivable last year. If I have time I can look at it again.

The already drivable jeep you mention I assume is the Gary Burns version. I have PM Gary (GARY20) asking if he could add lights and a horn effect. I hope he is still around and will
respond to my request. I am also interested in your works (jeep) for your Nam scenery. Sounds interesting. :engel016:

Same here....I am interested in your drivable Jeep.....I also have the non lighted Jeep.....

I have the Static Helo for the scenery.....I have a few added to the Kimpo airport. I have also added a few aircraft, that was still in use during Korea...
 
Tweaking the lights on the Jeep using taxilight.fx which are blue. Reduced the halo that was bleeding thru the hood. The projected light is shockwave lights. What ya thing? The blue gives to much of a Halogen look similar to new cars use, so I need to change that to white. Just wanted to get the alignments right.

Battalion Aide Stations

I seem to recall that the Aide Stations were just behind the front lines and about 3 or 4 miles from the MASH units. Does that sound about right to any of you'll? Here's a SketchUp screen shot of the surgery tent.

McDesigns,

I've got the OK from Guy Gauvreau to convert his Jeep that was done in CFS1 format to FSX. I guess this is a moot point now as you state that it is old.

Post 135 has the new *.bgl. Unzip it and replace the original.
I'm pretty sure Rami also updated the library's download with it. "M*A*S*H_4077_scenery_with_patch.zip"...Don

Kimpo Aitport is Gimpo.....
I am still working on back dating Kimpo to the Korean war.....
It will be done today and I will post screens here, as well as a separate thread for it.....

Right now I just finished placing the tents around the camps, and am working on the static aircraft.....

Along the same line, when all the various changes have been made, and assorted static objects added to this wonderful scenery......might a completed package be uploaded? Thanks, NC

If your talking about Kimpo....Yes it will be a complete package......The 4077Th, is a separate package by the person who started this thread......
Kimpo is being done as a complimentary piece for M.A.S.H

If RD wants to take and add it as part of a package, I am leaving that up to him......
I will be adding a flight plan from Kimpo to the 4077th.....for everyone to be able to find the 4077....

No I won't be doing that. It's my position that "stand alone" packages work best for me.

I finished a "beta" version of a Battallion Aide Station this morning as a compliment to the MASH 4077th camp. It's located within short helicopter flying distance from the 4077th.

I plan to have someone test this package for me, however, before I attempt to upload it here at the Outhouse. I hope I learned from the previous experience with the 4077th.
