This is a very well-modelled aircraft. It lives up to my tough expectations, and more.....:jump::salute::mixedsmi::applause::medals::icon29::guinness:

I got it and it's excellent !! Thanks Andrey & Co, you did a great job :ernae::salute:

This is a fantastic plane! My new favoritest "puddle jumer"!

Anyone else having contact point issues, or did I mess something up? I appear to have fixed it my adjusting the contact points a wee bit.

no no, I was practising for new year's eve fireworks...

But how does one raise the skies? Did not see any mention of it in the manual?

Same as you would raise the gear. :)

Too bad you can't use the skis to taxi over the water like it is pictured and described in the manual.. :engel016:

Paul, as I got you have "advanced animation" off in FSX settings, so spring do not work, please try to put it on, hope that will not takes much FPS.

Skies rises with G key (same as default Maule)

Please feel free to left any comments, wishes in our forum.

A question for anyone who has bought this already... Is it possible to use the O1-A/L19A model without the skis?

Ahh... See, I knew it was at leat 75% probability that I messed something up, like having advanced animations turned off. I have it turned on now, and now the wheel struts spread out with weight on them! Cool! Now I have to fly all my other planes to see what animations I have been missing all this time!

Thanks, Andrey!

Great fun to fly this Beauty - very well done :applause:. I notice that when i close the sim after a flight with the BirdDog, the simulator did not close normaly - i have to close it manualy from the Desktop and get an Error-Message. Did anyone else have that "problem". (I use Vista - and that problem appears only after I installed the BirdDog yesterday).

Dirk

I did notice one or two FsX crashes when I selected a different version of the Bird Dog. On other occasions it seems like I lost engine power and could not get over 40 kts after switching? I would stall and after the flight was reset everything was fine?

Yes - same here, sometime I get an "black screen" after select a different BirdDog. Not erverytime - strange !

Are you guys reporting these problems over at the Sibwings forums? I know Alex and Andrey do drop by here though.

Fireball...... I've had the same problem as you discribed..... Also..... saving the flight with the bird dog, then exiting FSX, it appears to exit, but coming back later I get the message, "FSX is already running." Going to the task manager it doesn't show it's running, however under "Processes" it's still there.

I've defragged my dedictated FSX drive last evening, however, it appears the problem will still exist if I try to save the flight in the OE-1.

For the time being, I'll have to make sure I save to a default aircraft I suppose.

Cheers,
