I worked on the helmet some more (first one looked like he was riding a Vespa scooter), and I am going to put him in a proper flight suit.
So I was working on external textures last night, specifically adding rivets. Tonight I realized that for the areas on the interior model where I was including the modeled rivets it would probably be a good thing for the modeled bits to agree with the external representation. These pics show how I am doing it.
