Great job, Duckie. Love the engine effects! Especially the Exhaust petal tips. nice touch. Jankees, fantastic. Love that one. Was hoping someone would do it.

Here's what I'm working next. NASA orange nose. No custom alpha or specular have been done yet, so parts will look much better when done. Still super early WIP.

.... counting the days on this one , getting close ?

No work has been done on the NASA bird since my last post...but i did acquire a Darth Vader light saber and a few others during my trip...Kylo Ren gives his best...lol. so dors Chewbacca and as does Mickey.. and spider man .

With all these great looking Vietnam era F-100's, isn't the MK82 bomb color wrong? As far as I know so was they painted OD all around back in the days. Looks a bit off with a modern day 82' on something from the 60s/70s (My guess is that VRS has not bothered with changing the modern USN painted MK82 from the Super Hornet armory). With all the detail focus this detail sort of stand out.

You're right. We had more time accurate renditions during the beta for a time, but a decision was made to go with the TacPack assets coloration for consistency.

Millies Moose. Hard to make it out in these screen shots. Don't know what's making them look so washed out! But it's a WIP... Adjusting the textures to make the rivets much less visible and added a little more "oxidation" to colors and few other tweaks. DaveQ also graciously allowed me to use some of his stencils. Thanks Dave!

(I'll also include the OD snake eye fins with the Moose as an option)

NASA Update

A little more work done. 85% complete

New Engine minor heat damage effects, pitot tube and custom speculars as well. Learned some new PS techniques which I tried here and worked with good effect to my liking. Lots of wear on this bird, and true to the real aircraft I think. since the paint looks as though it was not applied in the same quality as most, but rather field sprayed. Looks in most photos that the paint is just blotchy and coming off in patches....tried to represent that here.
