Cees, the CFS2 version of Hardwick is good - I'll check the FS2004 version and fix it if necessary before uploading. It's usually a matter of adjusting elevations.

I checked Hardwick and everything is showing up fine. The only odd thing is after selecting Hardwick, the default Seething shows up in the preview panel for the aircraft/location/season/time etc. even though you will be taken to Hardwick. Seething is a few miles away and its scenery is not affected by Hardwick.

CD East Wretham FS9 - CD East Wretham FS9

East Wretham was a base that housed the ‘Greennoses’ of 359th Fighter Group from october1943 to november 1945. Originally they flew with P-47 Thunderbolts on ground attack missions, but were re-equipped with P-51 Mustangs in march 1944. These Mustangs were used on bomber escort missions. The 359th flew 346 missions from East Wretham.

This project has a long history. It was in a way the starting point of my scenery making ‘career’.

This airbase was made with the help of photographs, aerial pictures and a site plan as found in the books of Roger A. Freeman, ‘Airfields of the Eight- Ten and Now’ and ‘The Mighty Eight- War Manual’.

Meadowland five miles north-west of the centre of Cambridge was selected as a site for an expansion scheme airfield in the 1930s and construction of Oakington began in the summer of 1939. The station came into use under No. 2 Group in July 1940 as a refuge for battered No. 218 Squadron, recently returned from France, and re-equipping with Blenheims and its first offensive operation from the station was made on August 19. Wormingford, Station 159. Home base of the 55th Fighter Group. The 55th Fighter Group achieved the distinction of having the first American fighter squadrons in the skies
of Berlin. The 55th FG patrolled the English Channel during the Normandy invasion.
