More Meteors from Rob Richardson!

Thanks!

I finally downloaded the F.4 as well and it is as the others, a joy to look at and fly in FS.

After I started to look over the paintkit and most of the already released repaints I discovered that large parts of the panel lines and rivets are a bit off compared to the real bird (specially the front fuselage, look at the footstep and handhold on real pictures and you will see that the entire panel line grid is off), so for the 3rd time for the Meteors I started on all new textures, including new bump files to get the details I wanted.

Beautiful work Jens,
Could you not improve the rather pixelated bumpmap and the mottled roundels.
Just a constructive criticism you understand.

Yeah, I'm testing out some different contrast options for the bump files. Right now a contrast (compared to the current) option seems to be the best. I also learnt that DXT5 is not the best option to save the bump files as it is part of the pixel issue.

I'm afraid I don't follow you when it comes to the roundel, they are hi res and should be very crisp.

Nice screenshots!

The 2. ANS NF.14 and Danish F.4 have been uploaded and are currently available over at flightsim.com. The 85 Sqn NF.14 paint has also some new updates compared to the initial version available here.

ok i'll admit i used MCX to tell the model to utilise the Fresnal ramp and specular maps (Rob if you want the Specular enabled model to look over give me a shout)... and here are the fruits of my labour so far;

WA668 is a fictional Pure T7 Martin Baker testbed (as opposed to the T7.5's they use), Centre is one of my personal fleet, painted in a Hellenic Air Force T-6A Texan II Scheme, and on the right a fictional ETPS 'Raspberry Ripple' scheme, both MB and Ras Rip have been requests from friends...

Nice colour scheme Peter.

Thanks, Noddy! G-ANSO was converted from the single-seat Reaper G-AMCJ, so it already had the F8 tail. Eventually converted back to standard T7 form and sold as SE-DCC.
A few more in the pipeline.

Matt, I very nearly painted those colours until a bit of research found out that they are spurious and WL375 never flew in those colours. Pity, however I'm sure someone would still like to see it, but I'm not into fictional stuff however I was tempted to paint it in Star Wars X-Wing colours!

Got this T7?

it's on my list of to-do's along with some Bob-Sled inspired schemes.... blame the Winter Olympics then looking at a Meteors nose cone and thinking "hmmm....?", the X-Wing idea is a cracker too Peter! i was going to Star Trek one up with Aztec'ing and such...
