Mu-2

Reddog,

PM me with your email address and I will send it to you. NB: I have just taken GNZLAP's nice NZ paint and painted over it with MS Paint and GIMP - so I am a wanabee-wanabee painter myself . . :icon_lol:

Would be great if others e.g. Sean Doran did some repaints of this bird. Surprised there haven't been many.

Plagiarised! The greatest compliment of all :costumes:
Never fear, I have it on the best authority that more and better is still to come...soon.

I'm certainly no Sean Doran, but I did a repaint as well, posted it here several times to get feedback and it was ignored. I discarded that one based on the lack of enthusiasm.

I saw some wip screenies of it but didn't know it got released I sure would have gotten it.:banghead: oops i guess u didn't release it sorry. I thought it looked pretty good myself.

. . yeah, I thought you would release that bronze toned German registration paint. Seen that one on airliner net. I am sure others like me would download it if its finished and you uploaded it here. :ernae:

ditto

I've been watching the library for it

Well everybody, I am happy to inform you that in the next few days we will be releasing our next variant of the MU-2. Im sure that you will all be quite pleased with how we have recreated this magnificent aircraft.

Sorry if I slipped any hints..... ;)

Joe

Maybe we should all get ready to quit drooling over the Solitaire, and be ready to drool over the next one, whatever it might be......hehe.

I rarely release repaints I do any more. I post screenshots in the appropriate forum along with those that others have posted to get feedback. In that way, I can see what the enthusiasm level is for a particular repaint and judge from that if it's worth continuing. The NZ repaint by GNZLAP was widely talked about and requests for that one posted continuously after he posted the pics. Mine, not a word, basically ignored after I posted my pics. . .that tells me. . .don't bother, so I dumped it.
Important to note here, this is not sour grapes, simply a statement showing why is wasn't released. I would love to see Sean do some for this airplane as well and surprised that he hasn't up til now.

You guys here have been very supportive of us and our MU-2 release and I can confirm Joe's ( capceo) cryptic message that the Marquise will be released in two very nice liveries tomorrow Dec 10th at approx 19.00hrs GMT.
The excellent NZ livery painted by GNZLAP will be re-released on a Model J (like a Marquise but fewer windows & 3 blade props) in about 2 weeks. GNZLAP and I conferred about this and agreed that his livery should be presented on the correct model.
The K model and E model (Japanese military) will be out in the New Year.
Thanks again for your support, it keeps us going.

Bob.
